Good food,
grown by us.

Governed by us.

Black Land & Food Sovereignty

— That's the mission.

Black Yield Institute works alongside residents of Cherry Hill, Mount Clare, Curtis Bay, and throughout South Baltimore to build long-term independent systems to grow, sell, and share fresh food directly in our communities.

What land gets taken?

Who decides what stores open?

Which ones close?

A neighborhood that feeds itself answers ONLY TO ITSELF.

We have been fed by other people's decisions for generations.

A community that owns its supply takes power back into its hands.

STAY CONNECTED TO THE CAUSE

BRING FOOD TO THE PEOPLE

Every dollar moves food, land, and power into community hands. Your support directly impacts Black communities by fostering community empowerment and educational initiatives.
